THE RIDE
I have to pull all the weeds, I won't deny. . .
But then a buddy pulls up in his new tight ride.
We talk for hours, then we want to go out
But all I have to do is pull all the weeds out.
It seems like hours, the the sun is gone.
I look at my watch and it is time for my buddy to roll on.

My mind is like a storm of thunder
Will it clear, All I do is wonder
I did so much wrong as a kid
Excuses and lies was the way I lived
Being so conning and manipulative
I tried so hard to do what I should
But the fact was that ai did no good
I want so very bad to think straight
My brain strains trying to contemplate
People wonder why I can’t stop acting that way
I can’t change my lifetime habit in one day
I try to tell the system about my feelings
But the fact was that they don’t understand my feelings.
Every night I think about all the time I been locked up,
Wondering whey it’s going to end.
Now that I’ve been trying so hard
Just to go home to my family.
But that didn’t work.
Staffs at Gemini tried to help me get a better placement
All this time in Gemini I been trying to solve
My own problems.
But now I can’t run anymore, this problem is real
All this time I’ve been trying to change my life
That didn’t work, I’m asking for help. . .

Peace
My mind is like a storm of thunder.
Will it clear? All I do is wonder.
There is so much wrong there is so much hate
Why should we have to negotiate? Peace.
Today is the day we gather together
to try and make this world a little better.
Look around you. What do you see?
A child playing with her brother.
A black man hugging a white man.
Many different religions standing as one.
Today we unlocked the darkness.
Today we begin to see the light.
Today we stand together, we stand for a reason,
WE stand for PEACE!!!!!

“Hopeless Romantic”
My love is pure in sincere devotions
it’s strong with an army of emotions
Some think love and hurt are the same
but that lie is just another game
Look deep in your heart and you will see
that true love has a chance to be
Tell me you want me, and plant the seed
for if you’re true that is all I need
Way hello to love and never say goodbye
show me the pulse, is this love alive
Love is like a storm or a drop of rain
I’ll soak you with my love and leave no pain
Girl I want us to become all we can be
the only question is will you be with me
I look in your eyes and feel no shame
kiss my lips and light the flame
I can’t get over the way I feel
the dreams I have seem so real
Life is like walking and love is a crutch
fill the gap in my life with your soft touch
I love the way you act in that certain way
the way you talk and the things you say
The decision’s up to you on what it will be
I can only be hopeful and wait to see!

A pink rose is filled with passion
A white rose is for your satisfaction
A red rose is from my heart
to give to my one and only sweetheart
Every night I dream of you
hoping that our love is true
When I wake up the next day
I think of you and decide to pray
I think of you all through the night
wishing I was there to hold you tight
I care about you so desperately
all because of your personality
When you and I get really close
you make me think of a dark read rose
I have attempted to reach my goal
to be able to touch your beautiful soul
Your heart it treasured like silver on gold
but to me it is better than riches or gold
I think of you as a beautiful dove
but what get’s to me most is your tenderness
and love
For me to be with you
is my only wish come true
Tonight is the night that I wish to hold
you tight
I’m writing this poem just for you
so answer my dreams and make it come
true.

They are like my moon
Brigntens my night
Like a glistening rose after a rain shower
I love them; They make my life complete
I pray in my heart for I am glad that we finally get to meet
They help me defeat what had kept my heart from making a beat
Only if I could defeat the depression
But they make my heart beat
You can hear it Thump, Thump, Thump
As it bumps against my chest
For they are the best
They defeated my past
And now my life runs fast past my eyes
Its like a smooth ride on a roller coaster fun & a blast to be here
For I love them and I shall pass it around
For I have found my one true place where I belong
And I will stay here forever and will never leave
Cause I believe I won't make it without them in my life
