Description and Uses:
- This medicine is for external use. Avoid contact with your eyes, mouth of inside of your
nose. If accidental contact does occur, rinse thoroughly with water.
- Be sure to tell your doctor if you have had and allergic reaction to benzoyl peroxide or
erythromycin.
- Wash your hands before and after applying the medicine.
- Wash the skin where the medicine is to be applied, rinse, and pat dry.
- Avoid contact of this medication with any colored material (including hair or fabric)
as it may result in bleaching or discoloration.
- The manufacturer warns not to use this medicine with other topical acne medicines unless
directed by your doctor.
If you are pregnant, plan to become pregnant, or are breast-feeding an infant, discuss all
medicine use with your doctor. All medicines should be kept in its original containers away from
children. If you need more information about this medicine, ask your doctor or pharmacist.
How to Take This Medicine:
- Apply this medicine as instructed by your doctor. If you forget to apply a dose, apply it as
soon as possible unless it is almost time for your next dose. After preperation store this medicine in
the refrigerator and discard after 3 months. Do not freeze.
Side Effects and Warnings:
- Side effects are possible with any medicine, but they are usually not severe enough to
interrupt of stop taking the medicine. Dryness, tenderness, redness, itching, oiliness, burning or
peeling of the skin may occur. Call your doctor if these symptoms do not go away or become
severe, if you experience diarrhea, or if you have any other bothersome side effects.
