Directions:
- Take six tablets by mouth every day as directed.
Common Uses:
- This medicine is an antipsychotic agent used in the management of emotion or mood disorders,
including schizophrenia. It may also be used to treat other conditions as determined by your doctor.
How to Use This Medicine:
- Follow the directions for using this medicine provided by your doctor. STORE THIS MEDICINE at
room temperature, away from heat and light. CONTINUE TO TAKE THIS MEDICINE even if you feel better. Do
not miss any doses. IF YOU MISS A DOSE OF THIS MEDICINE, take it as soon as possible. If it is almost
time to take your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular dosing schedule. DO NOT
take 2 doses at once.
Cautions:
- IT MAY TAKE SEVERAL WEEKS for this medicine to work fully. Do not stop using this medicine with
out consulting your doctor first. KEEP ALL DOCTOR AND LABORATORY APPOINTMENTS while you are using this
medicine. THIS MEDICINE MAY CAUSE DIZZINESS OR DROWSINESS. Using this medicine alone, with other
medicines, or with alcohol may lessen your ability to drive or to perform other potentially dangerous
tasks. Ask your doctor or pharmacist if you have any questions about which medicines cause drowsiness or
dizziness. DO NOT DRINK ALCOHOL while you are using this medicine. BEFORE YOU BEGIN TAKING ANY NEW
MEDICINE, either prescription or over0-the-counter, check with your doctor or pharmacist. FOR WOMEN: IF
YOU PLAN ON BECOMING PREGNANT discuss with your doctor the benefits and risks of using this medicine
during pregnancy. IT IS UNKNOWN IF THIS MEDICINE IS EXCRETED in breast milk. DO NOT BREAST-FEED while
taking this medicine.
Possible Side Effects:
- SIDE EFFECTS, that may go away during treatment, include drowsiness, dizziness, constipation, or
dry mouth. If they continue or are bothersome, check with your doctor. CONTACT YOUR DOCTOR IMMEDIATELY
if your experience unexplained fever, extreme muscle stiffness, irregular or fast pulse, sweating, or
change in alertness. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact your doctor, nurse, or
pharmacist.
Before Using:
- Inform your doctor or pharmacist of all prescriptions and over-the-counter medicines you are taking.
Inform your doctor of all other medical conditions, allergies, pregnancy, or breast-feeding.
Overdose:
- If overdose is suspected, contact your local poison control center or emergency room immediately.
Symptoms of overdose may include drowsiness, rapid pulse, weakness, fatigue, and dizziness.
