During the day, you ask some other children in your home about Rinaldo. They look at each other and smile.

One says to you, “You have a lot to learn. We always have at least one house fag on the premises, and right now, Rinaldo is the number one pretty boy. But that’s nobody’s business but his own.”

You ask the child, “Shouldn’t you have told me about this?”

The child says, “Maybe so, maybe not. But right now, things are real peaceful around here, and nobody’s picking on anyone. Why would we want to mess things up? You should just leave it alone.”

“Leave the foster parent alone,” says the first child. “She/he knows what the deal is. Besides, Rinaldo’s Tom’s business the. Everyone knows that.” You go to your bedroom to think in private.

If you:

Decide that it really isn't any of your business. . .
Decide to disucss it with you foster supervisor. . .
Decide to file a formal incident report. . .
