It is Hope Family Services’ purpose to operate and maintain services, including licensed family foster and/or group homes, for the community and family in the state of Colorado, mainly for the benefit of families having children of minor age who face or are placed in out-of-home placements (foster or group homes) who face dissolutions of the family by divorce, separation, incarceration, and the like, or who face or are in foster care placement for reasons of abuse, neglect, abandonment, delinquency, and/or psychological, social, economic, or emotional dysfunctions, or whose children are court ordered into a foster or group home placement that are attendant to such family dissolutions or dysfunction. In general, to guide and help families toward the rehabilitation and/or reunification and stabilization of the family unit through study, evaluation, counseling, research, education, foster child placements, and imparting of relevant information, the staging of demonstration programs and workshops designed to socialize and familiarize the parties with what it takes to achieve a stable family life and how to attain and maintain such, and other related support services and programs aiding family rehabilitation, reunification, and stabilization. In fulfillment and furtherance of the social, civic, fraternal, cultural, and educational objectives outlined above, Hope Family Services will seek to provide funds, such as necessary to engage the personnel, resources and facilities required to carry out the task, primarily by funding from governmental units, and from contributions from the general public, or from a combination thereof.
